Understand before choosing
A review centred on your circumstances.
Under French insurance law, a motor policy may be cancelled after a claim caused by a driver under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Any new policy remains subject to the insurer’s underwriting criteria.
A valid licence and a complete file
The firm reviews this type of case when the driver who will use the vehicle holds a valid licence appropriate for that vehicle at the time of review and application. The claims record, cancellation notice, history and documents requested by the insurer must be provided accurately.
Describe the event accurately
The date of the claim, circumstances, liability, any licence measure and the exact reason for cancellation may be requested. The aim is to present a faithful account so that the case can be directed to partners willing to review it.
Acceptance remains the insurer’s decision
We can identify markets that may consider a previously cancelled driver, but we cannot guarantee acceptance, price or scope of cover. Any vehicle intended for use must carry at least compulsory third-party liability insurance.
Compare the whole policy.
Price only makes sense alongside cover, deductibles, limits, exclusions and conditions. We collect the relevant information and present available solutions without promising cover that is not provided by the policy terms.
Questions
The essentials.
Can you review my case if my licence is currently suspended? +
For the solutions offered by the firm to the driver who will use the vehicle, the review is carried out when the driving licence is currently valid and the required documents can be provided.
Does an alcohol-related cancellation permanently prevent me from being insured? +
No. It can make the market more restricted, but a new application may be reviewed according to the licence, history, vehicle and insurer underwriting criteria.
