Understand before choosing
A review centred on your circumstances.
Duration, available cover and eligibility conditions vary by policy. The firm requires in particular a currently valid driving licence and the requested supporting documents; every application remains subject to insurer approval.
Cover limited in time
Temporary motor insurance is not simply an annual policy shortened automatically. It is a product with a duration, scope of cover, territorial limits and conditions set by the insurer. We check that the declared need matches the product available.
Documents and underwriting conditions
A currently valid driving licence, the vehicle registration document and information requested about the driver and vehicle must be provided. Depending on the profile or vehicle, the insurer may decline the risk or request additional documents.
The motor-insurance obligation still applies
Any vehicle intended for use in France must carry at least third-party liability insurance. Temporary cover must only be used during its period of validity and within the limits stated in the policy.
Compare the whole policy.
Price only makes sense alongside cover, deductibles, limits, exclusions and conditions. We collect the relevant information and present available solutions without promising cover that is not provided by the policy terms.
Questions
The essentials.
How long does temporary motor insurance last? +
There is no single duration applying to all products. The available period depends on the insurer’s product and underwriting conditions.
Is acceptance automatic? +
No. The application must meet the partner’s conditions, the required documents must be supplied and the insurer remains free to accept or decline the risk.
